National Dissemination Events
The THRIVE partners organised three National Dissemination Events, with one event held in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Serbia. The events brought together local, regional, and national stakeholders to present the project’s activities, results, practical resources, and experiences from the twelve-month partnership.
During the events, the partners presented the research findings on the employability and digital-literacy needs of Roma youth, the multilingual Employability Toolkit, the youth-worker training curriculum and materials, and the methods used during the Youth Employability and Digital Skills Workshops. Participants also learned about the project’s mentoring approaches, stakeholder cooperation, and lessons from implementation in the three partner countries.
The events involved representatives of municipalities and local authorities, youth organisations, educational institutions, civil-society organisations, employers, business-sector representatives, community organisations, media, and other stakeholders working in employment, digital inclusion, youth empowerment, and Roma inclusion. Their participation supported broader discussion about the barriers faced by Roma and Roma-origin youth and the practical measures that can improve access to employment guidance, mentoring, training, and digital opportunities.
Interactive presentations and discussions enabled participants to exchange experience, provide feedback on the project resources, and explore how the Toolkit and training methods could be integrated into existing youth services, community programmes, and employment-support activities. The events also created opportunities for organisations from different sectors to identify possibilities for continued cooperation and the wider application of THRIVE’s approach.
The National Dissemination Events formed an important part of the project’s sustainability strategy. Together with the project website, partner communication channels, the collaborative e-book, and continued distribution of the project resources, the events supported long-term access to THRIVE’s results and encouraged their continued use by youth workers, municipalities, organisations, and communities beyond the funded project period.
